Why I'm Leaving Facebook

I remember thinking years ago that it was kinda weird that Facebook and Google were offering all these services for free. Now, at the end of 2020, it’s starting to make sense.

I don’t think like this, maybe because I’ve got a lot of fire in my chart or maybe because I’ve never had access to the kind of capital you would need to think this way.

BUT…if you wanted nearly unlimited power and wealth and you were young and ambitious, wouldn’t it be genius to give everyone in the world something new and cool and useful for free…in exchange for a little of their personal data?

And then over time, you realize that they’ll happily give you details on everything they think, feel, and do — even when you start charging them for the privilege of being on your platform and giving you their data.

At some point you realize you can just take their data whether or not they realize you’re taking it (remember when Google and Facebook claimed they weren’t recording us through our phones and we believed them?). And you realize that machine learning/AI will soon be so advanced that you will possess all the information you need to actually control people’s minds.

By 2020 you will know enough about each user’s behavior and thought patterns to create a personalized echo chamber for each user. A place where they only read the news you want them to read, where their opinions are constantly validated by their online “friends” and where they can be manipulated by the addictive need for approval to think whatever you want them to think.

I don’t know how much of this endgame was planned by the Silicon Valley tech bros from the beginning and how much of it is just a case of too much power and wealth corrupting those who wield it. But I've been seeing the potential for mind control of the masses that was built into these platforms every time I log on to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube.

Some of the executives who helped build Facebook have come out publicly, warning us that big social media platforms including Facebook, Google, and Twitter have been engineered in a way that is open to manipulation by dark forces.

Facebook insiders talk about the platform's potential to exert mind control on a massive scale. (2 min 25 sec)

The Almighty Algorithms of Social Media Platforms

Former Facebook president Sean Parker says Facebook’s algorithms were designed to hack people’s reality by “exploiting a vulnerability in human psychology.”

“The thought process that went into building these applications…was all about ‘how do we consume as much of your time and conscious attention as possible,’” Parker says.

Venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, at one point the longest-tenured member of Facebook’s executive team, says social media is modifying people’s behavior in potentially cataclysmic ways. “The short-term dopamine-driven feedback loops that we have created are destroying how society works,” Palihapitiya says. “It is eroding the core foundations of how people behave by and between each other.”

You can use money to amplify whatever you believe and get people to believe that what is popular is now truthful.

I’ve been increasingly withdrawing from Facebook and Instagram over the last few years because it just didn’t feel good to be there. But this year it’s like a switch was flipped. People who have followed my writing and astrology for years are now gaslighting me as mentally ill. People (or bots) I don’t know comment on posts insinuating that I’m a “white supremacist” or “conspiracy theorist” (insert your favorite woke key phrase du jour). My partner and I have been accused of “causing harm” because we continue to write about and teach people to heal old trauma and empower themselves.

When I’ve posted scientific studies that challenge the C0vid narrative, I’ve been accused of posting harmful, shocking and “dangerous” content.

“We live in a world now where it is easy to confuse truth and popularity,” Chamath Palihapitiya says. “You can use money to amplify whatever you believe and get people to believe that what is popular is now truthful and what is not popular may not be truthful,” he says.

It’s disheartening to me to see how many people in the spiritual community are now parroting the propaganda they’re being fed in their algorithmic echo chambers. Even more discouraging is their willingness to dismiss any alternate viewpoints with anger, condemnation, smug moralizing, and outright threats of harm.

There’s a soul sickness and unthinking obedience to the will of the mob that reminds me of the worst of junior high school. The people who shout the loudest or dish the meanest putdowns have scared all the other kids into standing silently by while the mean kids bully anyone who dares challenge their authority. For what?

Chamath Palihapitiya says it’s the nature of the beast. “We get rewarded with these short-term signals – hearts, likes, thumbs-up – and we conflate that with value and we conflate it with truth. And instead what it really is, it’s fake, brittle popularity…that leaves you even more vacant and empty [than] before you did it.”

"That's what we're dealing with. Imagine when you take that to the extreme, where bad actors can now manipulate large swaths of people to do anything you want."

I'm starting my exit from social media with Facebook and Instagram, but planning to get off of YouTube and Google as well. I believe that Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook/Instagram), Jack Dorsey (Twitter), Sergey Brin (G00gle) and Susan Wojcicki (YouTube) have used and continue to use their outsized influence (acquired through the data we gave them, knowingly or unknowingly) to line their own pockets while participating in creating needless suffering for hundreds of millions of humans this year.

I’m tired of the fake fact-checking labels. I’m tired of watching good people with ideas worth considering being silenced and blacklisted. And I’m tired of watching people I care about trying to walk on eggshells to avoid being bullied by self-righteous zombies spouting the woke phrase of the week and demanding a public confession of thought crimes.

I could speak just as easily to the 2020 U.S. Presidential election as to the Covid-19 fear pandemic. The mechanisms being used by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google to convince their users that Joe Biden actually won the U.S. presidential election are similar. As is the willingness to hack the consciousness of everyday people in order to consolidate control in the hands of the few. (1)

The Covid-19 Wake-Up Call

But the global Covid-19 propaganda blitz and people's reactions to it on social media are what tipped me off to how much mind control has actually taken place already. The Covid-19 mono-narrative (that Facebook and others continue to amplify through algorithms that limit people's exposure to truth while force-feeding them politically useful lies and half-truths) is as ridiculous as it is terrifying. Especially when you look at some of the hard scientific facts that anyone with a web browser and the willingness to use a non-Google search engine can easily validate:

  • SARS-CoV-2 has a 99.7 percent survival rate.

  • The median age of death from Covid-19 is 79 years old worldwide. This is above the average lifespan of humans in most countries on Earth!

  • Most people who do get it experience minor or no symptoms.

  • Most people who are hospitalized from it are either very old and/or seriously, chronically ill.

  • Children are at statistically zero risk of dying from SARS-CoV-2 (despite the heroic efforts of The Washington Post and The New York Times to convince us otherwise).

  • The myth of asymptomatic spreaders was debunked months ago by the World Health Organization.

David Nabarro, the WHO's Special Envoy for Covid-19, urges world leaders to "stop using lockdown as your primary method of control." (0 min 58 sec)

Deep down, most of us know the truth of this. We've seen the videos of Dr. Fauci and other pro-mask medical propagandists ripping off their masks as soon as they think the cameras are off. We've seen the videos of Nancy Pelosi and other politicians violating their own lockdown and social distancing orders. We know that spending hours in a throng of thousands of protestors can't be less dangerous than going to church for an hour or going to the supermarket.

Deep down, we all know that the global panic created by the media and Big Tech over Covid-19 is not about keeping us safe. So why are Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey and friends working so hard to keep the hysteria alive? Could it be that the draconian restrictions on human freedom introduced in the name of Covid-19 are more about control than they are about saving lives? As more and more people suffer under waves of lockdowns, who is getting richer and gaining more control? For starters, the corrupt politicians, Big Tech oligarchs, Big Pharma conglomerates, and media shills who get richer and more powerful the more we the people buy into the fear, dread, division, and despair they’re selling us.

Who's In Charge of Changing the World?

Most of us can probably agree the world needs to change, sooner rather than later. That's why Tatiana and I started Cosmic Fire - to create a safe and vibrant place for artists, healers and visionaries to come together and amplify the thoughts and creative actions that will actually change the world in a positive way. Because we've got to be real with ourselves at this point: The government isn't going to save us. It's up to us to take our power back and create the change we desire.

The architects and enforcers of the Great Reset have no plans to give us back the freedoms they’ve taken from us this year. Not in 2021. Not ever. They are telling us this openly. Billionaire eugenecists who want to clear the planet of billions of useless eaters and place those who remain under total, unbreakable control DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

They don’t care about ending racism. They don’t harbor a special place in their hearts for LGBTQ people. They don’t care about the animals or the trees or the oceans or the environment - other than their insane need to have it all for themselves.

I’m tired of helping these parasites get richer and acquire more control over the people of the world by contributing my time, attention and data.

So I’m going to go live my life and take back my time and attention and direct them into doing more of what I love – seeking freedom and beauty and adventure, making music, being in Nature, and relating to real people who can still think for themselves and who value kindness more than “fake, brittle popularity.”

(1) - The censorship, propaganda, and outright lies about the 2020 election being repeated in lockstep by the mainstream media and Big Tech corporations could very well result in civil war breaking out in this country. If you don't follow any alternative news sources, you likely have no idea that citizen journalists and whistle-blowers have already documented evidence of voter fraud on a scale that would have been unimaginable in the U.S. until this year.

What do you think is likely to happen when tens millions of people - who are being assured daily by the mainstream media and Big Tech that what is popular in their minds is actually true - are confronted with the truth about the election results and are unable to accept it? What if the corporate media and Big Tech continue to deny the evidence even after the Supreme Court and Congress have voted on it?

Thanks Phoenix. I feel like the more I understand about social media and media in general, that I’m making better choices of where to share my energy.

This episode of Your Undivided Attention has a great breakdown of what happened to social media that started having a seriously negative impact on users mental health, especially vulnerable teens:

Hi Amelia! You're welcome. Thank you for sharing your experience as a truth-seeker. I feel we've reached a dangerous place in our society when the norm has become silencing, bullying, shaming and ostracizing people who are looking for the truth and who are honestly and earnestly trying to live better lives and make the world a better place.

The Diamond Princess cruise ship data you're referring to is pretty damning evidence against global lockdowns and Communist China-style restrictions on freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom to earn a living.

I believed what most of your "conscious" friends believe about Trump until this year. I still don't trust any politicians but I trust the bought-and-paid-for mainstream media even less.…

Thank you for this post. I can honestly say I was feeling so alone at the beginning of the year with the insane lockdowns. I saw them for what they were. Everything we needed to know about Covid we learned from the cruise ship infection rates in March or February. I posted on Facebook and was censored, or dogpiled by people I thought were on a path of consciousness. To my shock and utter dismay I realized they had been brainwashed in totality by the machine. I was afraid this community was also under the spell until Kairos started posting blogs like this. I am so grateful to have a community of conscious people to be with during all of…
